How We Serve
We believe everyone has a God given ministry, with each person gifted in unique and different ways. Our varying ministry teams embrace these differences to provide opportunity for each person to serve others in the body of Christ.
MEDIA, TECH & ARTS
Whether behind the scenes or up on stage, this ministry team insures gatherings run smoothly. Media and tech support create song and scripture slides, run the sound board (testing...1...2...3), and cue the mics/songs. Musicians, singing or playing an instrument, share their talents to lead the church in worship. But together they serve an integral part in the structure of our weekly gatherings.
These young kids are navigating through the real and online worlds, where social media is favored over social interaction. If you have a heart for middle and high school students and want to help them navigate through these worlds with God at the helm, then join Overflow, our teen ministry, which meets weekly on Sunday evenings.
BUILDING & GROUNDS
Responsible for maintaining the building and grounds, this team handles everything from mowing and trimming outside, to patching and painting inside. The care of the facility insures a well cared for, safe, and inviting place for people to come worship each week.
A good first impression goes a long way in welcoming people to church. The host team insures every person is greeted warmly and available to answer questions effectively. This ministry consists of greeters, cafe attendants, ushers, information desk helpers, and transportation assistants.
YOUTH: K-5TH GRADE
It's such a privilege to mentor and invest in elementary school age kids! Get involved by joining the Sunday morning kids church rotation, helping a kid grow in Jesus at our Wednesday evening Awana program, or jumping into our quarterly Night Craze event. The energy and joy kids have is contagious!
CHILDREN: 0-4 YEARS
From babies to preschoolers, our youngest church goers need your love and care. We offer age appropriate classes during each service: a baby/toddler room for 0-2 years old, and a preschool room for 3-4 years old. Join a monthly rotation to serve, teach, and play with these young ones, and impact their little souls for Jesus.
God has given us a tremendous kitchen space and we love using it for the kingdom. We enjoy after church luncheons, quarterly men's breakfast, Super Bowl Chili Cook-off, funeral luncheons, and Sunday volunteer breakfasts to name a few of the things this team handles. This is a rewarding team, meeting physical needs so people are receptive to their spiritual ones.
Through our local community events and our global missions efforts, your participation is time worth spent. The scale of these events require many hands, often pulling from all areas of ministry to reach the people in our local community as well as around the world. These events range locally from our Easter Egg Hunt to Trunk or Treat, to globally with Operation Christmas Child and Key of Hope. Whether local or global, the mission of sharing the gospel and love of Jesus is the same .
